Ace Retail Group Fan Drive Delivers 8,400 Fans in 2026

Annual campaign brings lifetime total to more than 78,000 fans distributed through local Salvation Army partnerships

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – June 23, 2026 – Ace Retail Group announced today that its annual Fan Drive generated more than $165,000 in customer donations this year, helping provide 8,400 box fans to local Salvation Army locations for distribution.

Since the Fan Drive began in 2012, customers across Ace Retail Group stores have donated more than $1.2 million, helping provide over 78,000 box fans to seniors, low-income families and others in need throughout the communities the company serves. The 2026 Fan Drive expanded to include Great Lakes Ace Hardware stores in Detroit and Cincinnati, bringing participation to 210 Ace Retail Group stores nationwide.

From mid-May through early June, customers were invited to round up their purchases at the register to support the campaign. One hundred percent of customer donations were used to purchase box fans at cost for distribution through local Salvation Army commands. In addition, Ace Retail Group donated additional fans to support this year’s effort, helping extend the program’s impact in communities across the country.
